Hi everyone,
We are about to ramp up for the season and among news we are planning to add a new fantasy sports column by two former colleagues that I think will be both funny and informative.
I guess as an on-again/off-again Vikings fan I should have some kind of Favre reaction but it's not more than meh. I bet Favre, Jackson and Rosenfels all see action in at least six games so I'm not getting too flustered by who is QB. I'm worried about who is blocking for them. (And at the moment I'm far more worried by the latest Phil Humber botch).
I've been pouring over college previews from Sporting News, Athlon and Phil Steele over the last two months and am preparing to unleash my annual preview/picks that are slated to be released Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 (Last year's claim to fame: Called for Michigan to finish 3-9; Last year's blunder: Auburn to win SEC West).
NFL Preview will be out the following week after I can spend my vacation week poring over NFL stats and depth charts.
We'll also freshen up in general over the next two weeks, so get ready to start keeping up with SoBo, including our winning picks on Lockdown.
Looking forward to Sept. 3! (Get your season started with South Carolina-N.C. State)
